Fooling Around with a Little Less Dark...a Little More Complex (H)

I was raised in southern California.  My earliest recollections are the colors and the heat of the desert, which I think has a lot to do with my color preferences….I fell in love with the Oregon landscape, and now I think that the interiors have influenced my compositions and are a source for the forms I use.  The landscape in the Northwest has a dense, complex, claustrophobic feeling that intrigues me. –Artist statement
