I hope, through my pictures, to help people come to an understanding of the language that is communicated by the clothing, hairstyles, ornamentation and in general, the choices that have been made to represent a particular attitude.  The great fears of the future are keenly felt by youth...These fears oppress, and the oppression is sometimes demonstrated in dress, and in attitude.  The resulting style is a language of rejection, a plea for understanding. –Artist statement
