Description: On the northwest corner of a concrete remnant of the demolished Aqua Theatre stands a long oar shaped aluminum rod counterbalanced with a steel cylinder. The shape refers to the use of the nearby boating and sailing facility, which houses racing shells and sculls, popular rowing boats used on the lake. The sculpture is painted the same color as the surrounding blue railings, so it is often missed.  On days with sufficient wind, viewers will see it move gently like a weathervane. –Art in Seattle’s Public Spaces, James Rupp
