. . . concerning my cartoon work. They are primarily responses to objects, people and events that draw on some of the traditional aspects of expressionism, surrealism, and dada using the format and context of comic book art that ranges in character from the super hero genre, the daintily attractive Disney-esque sphere, to the harsher elements of the psychedelic alternatives generated in the late sixties. –Artist statement
