Description: The artwork project consists of an ADA-accessible platform (pad) on which are arranged two “camera obscura” sculptures that are fabricated from pipefittings and valves typical to those used of Seattle Public Utilities for drainage and wastewater. The camera obscura placed in the pipefittings and valves hold a type of “camera” with an acrylic lens, which allows a viewer to see an inverted territorial view when they look through it.

The site is ideal for the pedestrian access and for the variety of views that appear in the camera obscura.  Vehicles and pedestrians  appear upside down and backwards.
