White Lines is a digitally enhanced photograph of an agave plant which exhibits a color shift from dull grey-green to brilliant cobalt blue, with artist-added white lines. My intention in art making is to create a visual experience for the viewer to pause and absorb the imagery, then look beyond the captured reality to make a connection with form in color, line, and shape. –Artist statement
