Shock and Awe

Janette Conger, Crow Creek Sioux tribal member and long-time Seattle resident, had not seen the changes to the Seattle waterfront since the Alaskan Way viaduct was demolished. It made her heart hurt to see a significant piece of Seattle history taken away from the landscape.
