Big Tillie and Little Tillie

Since the 1950s, when Indians were encouraged to migrate to the cities in large numbers, the urban Indian population has steadily grown. Today, half of all Native Americans living in the United States reside in the urban environment. It would be an interesting and valuable project to examine photographically how the Indian culture has evolved in the City of Seattle.
