Conversation

My interest in creating the Conversation suite was to relate an idea in the form of a sequence, as if it were a video.  Each of the six watercolors would have a consistent stage setting with subtle change of narrative gesture.  The ‘lighted’ space of the composition is the outside world of adults, the blue gray space is the child’s interior world. –Artist statement
