Description: This mural, composed of ninety ceramic squares, depicts two Plains Indians hunting buffalo, the main source of food and materials of the American Plains region. The scene here shows the predominant method of hunting before rifles were introduced to the Indians. The two hunters must ride close alongside their targets to get an effective shot with their arrows.
