Seducer

I combine my contemporary aesthetics to create sculptures that speak of our incredible loss of native people and natural environments.  As I attempt to catch a glimpse of the lives of the native people of the world I am struck by the stories their objects tell. . . .The objects 'other meaning,' their essence, and the spirits that drove their creators to embellish and go beyond function emanate from the objects and captivate me…Three facets have remained consistent in my work: love of materials; love of process; and my attempts to express my connection to the natural world. –Artist statement
