Merry Weather Hill Edition 4/27

This is an apt example of the orchard lands that nestle in the foothills of the Eastern Cascades Mountains.  In winter, devoid of foliage and fruit and layered with a fall of snow, these apple trees stand in graphic contrast to the surrounding rolling hills, themselves dotted with the natural vegetation of fir and pine.  This contrast provides a fine example of man's endeavors to blend harmoniously with the natural environment. –Artist statement
