Incidence of Catastrophe

Gary Hill's reputation extends to international renown with work that focuses upon relationships of language and image.  His artwork ranges from single-channel video works to mixed-media installations.  The inspiration for this piece came from the book, Thomas the Obscure by Maurice Blanchot and deals with language, consciousness and death through the character of the reader.
