Camera Text or Picture #2

Alternating photographic images of text and a race, the artist seems to place his camera half way between the images created in the mind's eye of a reader, and the images that are real or at least exist outside the viewer's head. While both require the eyes and brain, the two types of images are very different. This photograph is not only a picture; it is a manipulation to the viewer's mind. Sense of place, culture and self all exist primarily in the human mind.
