Tu-Tu-Fu #2

For artists like me, time is the most precious gift. The kind of work I do requires patience, skill and experience -- three things that don’t come through shortcuts or inattention. I think best with my hands in motion, before words rush in and tell me what I’m doing. So I have to think, what would my work which is all about obsession, patience, self-invention, what would that work look like if I had an opportunity to give it six months? A year? –Artist statement
