Patriotic Celebration

This piece resulted from a direct investigation of American Political Conventions. The balanced and unified composition speaks to my desire for a balanced environment to pursue happiness, life and liberty. This piece was also inspired by the massive Mormon Tabernacle organ in Salt Lake City, Utah coupled with the ceremonial decorations employed by the native peoples of the Northwest to produce an object of national celebration. –Artist statement
