Moondoggie

This series of photographs area of post-competition farm combines at the annual Combine Demolition Derby in Lind, WA. Literally the antitheses of guns to plowshares, these great hulks have been repurposed for battle in this small rural town in Eastern Washington. My work uses technology and a variety of media to explore representation of landscape and social ecology, particularly of the Pacific Northwest. –Artist statement
