Target and Reflection III

Mr. Ritchie taught printmaking at the University of Washington for several years. He is an accomplished craftsman who often looks to the history and techniques of printmaking as a starting point for his work. Here the idea of a simple image, a target becomes more complex as it creates its own reflection. Much like what happens when a printing plate passes through a press and leaves its image (reflection) on a piece of paper.
