Tracks

My most recent work ranges from abstract and ethereal derivations of aerial landscapes to imagery derived from the high desert and mountainous areas of the West. This painting, Tracks, represents a fictional landscape and was inspired by rural eastern Washington. The title refers to the linear patterns that are carved into the earth as a result of heavy vehicle traffic.  –Artist statement
