II. Deception Falls

There is no other relationship in my life as the one I have with water.  Much of what sustains my Native culture is rooted in the seas and surrounding rivers and falls.  I cannot help but have an intuitive and intimate relationship with water.  Still or moving, water brings comfort and solace to my daily life.  In my young tormented years, it was the ocean's edge that brought peace to my frequently broken heart. –Artist statement
