Rainbow Ceremony

Moseley received both a B.A. and an M.F.A. from the University of Washington. In 1949, he traveled to Paris where he studied with Fernand Leger.  Beginning in 1951, Moseley became a permanent instructor at the University of Washington's School of Art.  He served as Director of the School of Art and Acting Director of the University's Henry Art Gallery from 1967 until 1977.  During this time, he established the Index of Northwest Art and wrote or co-wrote several important books and publications on Northwest artists.  He had extensive solo exhibitions during his career.
