This is the final piece of four Heron designs. The first two were created for the Vancouver Olympics and were used on the exterior of the Skating Oval in Richmond. This piece is my favorite, as it represents my ancestral territory and the lush marshlands of the delta. The images are a reflection of all life in the Coast Salish area. –Artist statement
