Lone Star Market

This photograph is part of a series that focuses on cultural identity. I first started shooting these Latino owned stores because I felt they were very important in my life. These stores and the people I photograph remind me of my childhood. These places also helped me to reconnect with my heritage, something I felt I was losing since moving to Idaho from LA. –Artist statement
