Location/Relocation

The image in the diptych Location, Relocation is a situation exactly as I found it except that I removed a sign that read “free”. To create the image on the right, I removed the crates and then set them up again at a site nearby, as exactly as I could, and photographed then from the same cardinal direction and time of day so that the shadows would correspond. –Artist statement
