The Interbay P-Patch is a community garden located north of Elliott Bay that is administered by the City of Seattle and nurtured by individual gardeners who tend their plots.  One such gardener is Thoni, a woman who produces many bushels of vegetables yearly and gives most to a Seattle food bank. I luckily found the Interbay P-Patch wile walking around in the early morning of October 16th, 1983, and immediately fell in love with the place. The artist began photographing the place several times a week for a full year.  He still likes to visit this place of produce.
