This work depicts Eagle, with Frog peeking out from his belly, riding the back of Orca and making the connection between the Heavens and the Earth. Orca is said to protect those who travel away from home and lead them back when the time comes. Eagle is a symbol of peace and tranquility. And Frog is revered for his adaptability, knowledge and power to traverse worlds and inhabit both natural and supernatural realms. Heritage: Quinault / Isleta-Pueblo.
