Locusts and Bird

Some of the things that please or affect me are strong simple forms, playfulness, humor, archaic dogs, unusual juxtapositions, stampedes, leaping fish, the bold maneuver, a decisive painting act, growing more eccentric, the Palouse moon rising full and orange, red grasshoppers, small-town parades, fearsome creatures lurking in the darkness, getting up before sunrise, fly-fishing on the North Fork.
He hopes his paintings take you on an excursion into tall tale terrain, along the frontiers of the imagination.
