Oxbow Park

This particular piece was done on site in Oxbow Park, in conjunction with the annual Cross-Pollinate event in Georgetown. Most of the artwork was painted during the day long Plein Air event. I will often work plein air to try and fuse the scene more firmly in the finished art. I found it challenging to tackle the iconic pair of 'boots' in Oxbow Park. –Artist statement
