Ibis was a computer that contained a sophisticated color graphics program. The computer was made available to artists as a way of introducing for them to a new art form: computer graphics. Ms. Guzak took full advantage of the opportunity. Her abstract work lent itself to the manipulations and saturated colors available from the computer. This influence can still be seen in her works on paper.
