Seven Layers of Sky

Portland artist Naomi Shigeta says of her work In my paintings I try to document the feelings and images of my life and the lives of those around me. Like a diary, I put my thoughts on the canvas layer by layer. For this artwork, Shigeta writes The piece illustrates the view from my skylight in my studio, where I only can see whole sky without interruptions.
