Painting, sculpture, and ceramics are the three disciplines I have both practiced and taught throughout my life, here and in Israel. My husband, Chaim Bezalel, is also a working artist. Together for almost thirty years we have pooled our talents, as in this painting. Consequently, we have three artists in our household, myself, Chaim, and the collaboration. Pioneer Square as seen from the window of the Foster White Gallery. I always knew, since childhood, of their importance in celebrating Northwest art and its worldwide influence. I painted this with great nostalgia from one of my husband’s photo compositions. –Artist statement
