Aztechno

This artwork is part of a small series using imagery influenced by ancient native Mexican tribes. I also utilize themes from current rave, club, dance and party culture. There are aspects of it that seem to reflect some of the tribes ancient methods of communing with the universe through ritualistic dances, colorful outfits, disguises and masks, and the use of hallucinogenic substances in order to perceive an alternate reality. –Artist statement
