My work identifies locations of architectural, historical, and visual interest from celebrated Seattle neighborhoods, whose personalities are being subdued by population growth. The pieces capture Seattle’s past, and prompt dialogue regarding the process in which we decide to discard a city’s character in favor of progress. –Artist statement
