Waiting for Nothing

As an artist, I explore deep inside the feelings presented in portraits. It is the unexpected that gives a painting the quality of being special. As an artist, I believe that art is a method of communication and it can create positive changes in our way of life. I want to be part of that. The concept and inspiration of my painting is to express the struggle and survival condition and give voice to women in the world and especially in Africa. –Artist statement
