Waiting in the Street

Whatever is happening on this street, it is happening behind closed doors and drawn curtains.  If paintings can be thought to depict sound as well as imagery, then this place is silent.  And as viewers, we are on a stake out, waiting for someone to walk onto the empty stage that the artist has chosen to create.
