I Will Do This With You

My point of departure  for my photography work is the human animal’s conflicting relationship with the natural world, of both fear and longing for belonging, and how that paradox winds its tendrils through much of our fairy tales, mythology and folk tales. My photographic digital collages emerge from a process exploring these archetypes in my own life, through going on journeys into the wilderness with myself, my family, and friends. –Artist statement
