This series captured ice formation on lakes and rivers in Fairbanks, Alaska. Many of these are frozen bubbles of gases like methane or carbon dioxide trapped under ice. These bubbles create unique geometric patterns. I try to capture dynamic change of water in the nature and its beauty. –Artist statement
