Outside of Town

Reindeer and caribou are among my favorite arctic animals to draw and paint, this one stands at the outskirts of a village, of which you can see a couple illuminated dwellings and power poles. The steady gaze of the deer challenges the viewer about their perceptions about where he belongs. –Artist statement
