Growing up in the Philippines has been a profound source of inspiration for my art, infusing it with the vibrant colors of nature and the essence of joy that the people and environment bestowed upon me. When I moved to Seattle, I found myself longing to remind the viewers that life is filled with color. Seattle's diverse and dynamic art scene provided the perfect platform to weave my experiences from the Philippines into my work. –Artist statement
