A landscape doesn't need to be portrayed in the usual way. There doesn't always have to be a single point of view or a depiction of one scene, a single horizon or a single moment.  It can also be a narrative with documentation taken overtime.  Here the artist takes the viewer on a tour of the devastation wrought on the environment of the Olympic Peninsula.
