Created on site, the paintings of Christopher Hoff are at once part historical artifact and part surveyor's blueprint. Only depicts the convergence of Dearborn Ave. and Airport Way S. in Seattle. I like the strong light that results from the lack of any surrounding tall buildings, as well as how the crosswalk, street signs, and powerlines move one's eye through the space. –Artist statement
