Black and White Parlor Fan Quilt

I am enamored of products that have been used and discarded, particularly soda and tin can graphics. I began the folk art of quilting different pieces of soda cans together, mixing color combinations. This too was a way of recycling aluminum, of cleaning the city. –Artist statement
