Candy Cobweb Quilt

My work is inspired by the American folk-art traditions of quilting, flag-making, bricolage and primitive portraiture. I filter these traditions in making my contemporary objects. I embrace my New England roots while my contemporary observation of the world are revealed through a wide variety of political and topical themes. –Artist statement
