Shiva

In my work I try to communicate, in abstract form, experiences and events from my past. Often, I am recalling a particular place and will try to distill elements that suggest that particular environment. Shiva is an image of a goddess. In this work I am expressing my love of the fierce beauty, wisdom, and power of women. –Artist statement
