Environs Blue/Green 1

This panel is made of salvaged wood. The outer covering is lath, cut, arranged and painted in a manner reminiscent of an abstract quilt.  To symbolize Seattle public utilities' services (water & recycling), the colors in this series are primarily blues and greens. Small triangles in the pattern are painted red to dynamize the composition. This panel is part of a series of four panels that progress from a flat plane to changing vertical angles that protrude in different depths, with the intent of drawing the viewer along to look at each one.
