BunnyKid

Bunnykid is drawn from a recent public artwork entitled PlayLand. PlayLand, located in Seattle's Bitter Lake neighborhood, was commissioned with SDOT 1% for Art Funds and takes its name and inspiration from a 12-acre amusement park that operated adjacent to the artwork and along Seattle's historic Interurban from 1930 – 1961. Using traffic signs and materials salvaged exclusively from SDOT, PlayLand celebrates the urban environment and creates a sense of wonder and play along a public right-of-way.
