Neighborhood Marks; Pilsen Yard Fence

My pictures are about layers of time as revealed by the natural erosion of surfaces or by the accumulated marks of human activity.  Layers of objects, space, and light as compressed, juxtaposed, and fixed by the camera into two dimensions.  In this space, I explore the relationships between shape, shadow, light and texture of a given or found event.
