Home Illumination

Home Illumination is based on a series of still life paintings depicting a living room in the evening, and the nature of the light within. It is also a very public gaze at the very private settings of our own home environments: our sanctum sanctorum. My hope is that the work will stimulate the feeling of warmth, light and home within the cooler urban landscape in which we conduct our business. –Artist statement
