My work has always been distinguished by its exploration of the tension between the familiar and the strange. This recent body of work is a panorama of scenes spread across a series of individual landscapes. I am interested in representing a surreal hybridization of place and subject and representing a deliberate lack of defined space by utilizing multiple perspectives. –Artist statement
