Bowl No Twelve

This vessel was a response to another piece that was inspired by a fossilized insect.  Most of my work is in the form of vessels and music boxes that are inspired by plant and sea life, as well as my own personal experiences.  I form the metal using hollowware processes often in combination with cast or electro-formed parts that I carve from wax.  I first learned to form metal at the Rhode Island School of Design where I received my B.F.A. from the jewelry and light metals department. –Artist statement
